Porcino mushroom, very tasteful and sought for its flavour and fragrance, is divided into four different types: Boletus edulis, Pinicola, Reticulatus and Aereus, similar for the same fragrant and compact flesh but different in intensity and fragrance.
Dried mushrooms must stay in lukewarm water for 20 minutes and then rinsed out profusely under running water. Afterwards they are cooked for about 20 minutes. They can be used to season meat, flavour sauce and pasta seasoning or served as side dish.
