It was produced for the first time in honour of REMIGIO MEDICI I, forefather of his dynasty.
In 1911 during AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY EXPO Medici Remigio Company received the much sought-after prize Honorable Mention GOLD METAL AND CROCE AL MERITO (merit badge) as reward of their good quality products already at that time.

This Lambrusco Grasparossa celebrates this event after 100 years. Its colour is intense ruby red. Its froth is dense with fine perlage which gives a well balanced sugary taste.
