Eucalyptus honey is honey from eucalyptus trees in the Reggio Emilia Apennines. 

It crystallizes spontaneously and relatively quickly, forming a compact mass with fine to medium-sized crystals. Its color ranges from light to dark amber when liquid and grayish beige when crystallized. Eucalyptus honey is very rich in antioxidants, especially flavonoids. These are extremely useful for preventing inflammatory and degenerative processes and for fighting free radicals. It is therefore a useful food for combating cellular aging.

Taste/Aroma: Reminiscent of the aromas perceived by smell, of licorice toffee, cappuccino, and malt.

It pairs very well with aged cheeses, such as Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino.

Thanks to its properties, it is one of the most appreciated and sought-after honeys, both in Italy and abroad.
