190 g. jar of wild boar meat sauce - Azienda Agricola "Riverzana"

Wild boar ragù is a ready-made artisanal sauce made with wild boar meat, tomato puree,  extra virgin olive oil, vegetables (onion, celery, carrot), salt, pepper, and cloves, and contains no preservatives. Therefore, ground meat makes up the bulk of the sauce. Traditionally, the sauce consists of a classic soffritto of celery, carrots, and onions, in which the freshly minced meat is browned to flavor the meat. Finally, the tomato is added and left to simmer gently until cooked through. It contains no chemical preservatives.

Tasting tip: Wild boar meat pairs well with full-bodied wines, so it should be paired with a dry, sparkling red wine. ("Piazza San prospero", "Ponente 270", "Remigio 100" o "Remigio 101").
